Eli's dream of helping others was the inspiration that made The Eli Foundation become a reality.  However, his vision needs to be shared in order for his dream to come true.  You can help build the foundation by helping Eli's mom honor her son's request by providing Eli's mom the opportunity to share her son's story and vision. ELI'S MOM SHARES what happened, what things were like and what things are like now. Trina has also made available to the foundation her gifts of song to further support The Eli Foundation and bring it to a place that will allow families who's children are diagnosed with AML Leukemia the rest from stress they need as they take leave from their jobs to journey through the initial 5 months of chemotherapy treatments beside their child. Part of the emotional motivation behind Eli's dream of each child having one parent with them at all times was KNOWING THE SECURITY and PEACE it brought to him as his mom was with him every step of the way. This same motivation is what gives Eli's mom the strength to make herself available for you.

Sometimes the ability to perseverance is most easily found when one person is willing to share their experience, strength and hope with another. Gods message can continue to meet individuals right where they are....if we all try to do our part.  Lives of all ages are being touched and changed through the story of this young man who was willing to allow his journey to be used as an instrument for encouraging others to stay strong during their trials.  God can use any situation or circumstance in our lives if we will simply GIVE THEM TO HIM. That is what Eli did on that Aug.day in 2003. And God gave him the courage he needed to live out his faith here among us. Sometimes things don't make sense or work out the way we hope or pray they will....But, we still have a choice in who we lean on and trust as we face each day.  When things looked grim and hearts were heavy, Eli found strength in Heb.11:1. We can too!
